Granite

Granite is an igneous rock that forms from the slow crystallization of magma below Earth’s surface. It is composed mainly of quartz, which is the main mineral found on Earth. It is basically hard enough to use it for any application you want (floors, walls, counter tops, barbeque, facades, etc.) interior an exterior.

APPLICATIONS
Residential:
Flooring, Walls, Counter Tops
Commercial: Walls, Flooring, Counter Tops

Limestone

Limestone is a sedimentary rock, which is often composed of the skeletal fragments of marine organisms such as coral, foraminifera and mollusks. Its major materials are the minerals calcite and aragonite, it is a very soft stone, so it is not recommended for any applications, the applications recommended for are, residential flooring, residential counter tops and any kind of wall application.

APPLICATIONS
Residential:
Flooring, Walls, Counter Tops
Commercial: Walls

Marble

Marble is a metamorphic rock composed of recrystallized carbonate minerals, most commonly calcite or dolomite. Marble is a soft and much less dense stone than granite, there for it is not recommended for high traffic flooring or counter tops.

APPLICATIONS
Residential:
Flooring, Walls, Counter Tops
Commercial: Walls, Flooring, Counter Tops

Onyx

Onyx primarily refers to the parallel banded variety of the silicate mineral chalcedony. Onyx is a variety of layered chalcedony that differ only in the form of the bands. The colors of its bands range from white to almost every color. Commonly, specimens of onyx contain bands of black and/or white. Onyx, is an even softer or has less density than marble, there for its usage is recommended only for decorative applications, such as walls, bar counter tops fronts, decorative pieces such as lamps, etcetera.

Quartz

Quartz is a mineral composed of silicon and oxygen atoms in a continuous framework of SiO4 silicon–oxygen. Quartz is the second most abundant mineral in Earth’s continental crust, behind feldspar. It is also one of the hardest natural materials found on Earth, it is recommended for almost any usage as long as it is use at interior areas.

APPLICATIONS
Residential:
Flooring, Walls, Counter Tops
Commercial: Walls, Flooring, Counter Tops

Quartzite

Quartzite is a hard, non- foliated metamorphic rock which was originally pure quartz sandstone. Sandstone is converted into quartzite through heating and pressure usually related to tectonic compression within orogenic belts. Pure quartzite is usually white to grey, though quartzites often occur in various shades of pink and red due to varying amounts of iron oxide (Fe 2 O 3). Other colors, such as yellow, green, blue and orange, are due to other minerals. It is such a hard that it can be used on any application in or out doors as well.

Porcelain

Porcelain is a ceramic material man made by heating materials, generally including kaolin, is also an inorganic compound of metal, non metal and metalloid atoms primarily held in ionic and covalent bonds, heated between 2200-2600 °F. It work perfectly for interior and exterior applications. Now a days technology allows to fabricate slab format size porcelains 120” x 48”, when no so long the biggest size were 24” X 24”.
